ADVANCE REGISTRATION
Participants who pre-register will benefit by way of a reduced registration fee as well as having their entire documentation ready on arrival at the conference registration desk. Each registrant is requested to submit a separate registration form (or a photocopy of it), along with the registration fee. Registration forms without payment will not constitute a pre-registration.

NOTE: To avoid record duplication, Submitting Authors MUST register online using their Access Key (provided at time of submission of abstract). If you have misplaced your Access Key, please contact the Conference Management Office.


REGISTRATION TYPES AND FEES

REGULAR Registration Fee
The Regular Registration fee entitles the participants to attend the scientific sessions; poster sessions, the exhibition and coffee breaks. It also includes a delegate registration kit consisting of the conference program, abstract book and a CD-Rom containing the program and abstracts.

STUDENT Registration Fee
This special Student registration fee has been established in support of and to encourage the participation of students actively involved in this area of study. Students have the same privileges as the Regular participants.

STUDENT FEE POLICY: The Student Fee is available ONLY to full-time students enrolled in a degree program. Post Doctorate Fellows are not eligible.


IMPORTANT NOTE TO AUTHORS: Accepted Authors must register no later than
Monday, April 24, 2006, in order to confirm their participation in the symposium and to be published in the Conference Book of Abstracts and CD-Rom. Cancellations and substitutes will not be accepted.


ACCOMPANYING PERSON Fee
The Accompanying Persons Registration Fee entitles the participants to attend the Welcome Reception and the Banquet. The Accompanying Person Program will also include a Tourism Whistler Orientation Session as well as special sessions offered by local tour providers. BANQUET
Greatly subsidized by the Conference Budget, a special fee of $75 CAD has been set for the ICS2006 Banquet tickets for both Regular and Student Participants. Please note that Banquet Tickets are NOT included in the Regular or Student Registration Fees.

METHOD OF PAYMENT
Registration fees may be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) or cheque, in Canadian dollars to the order of Receiver General for Canada (NRC-ICS2006). All Federal Government Employees are invited to pay through the Financial Information Strategy (FIS).

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Participants may withdraw their registration application, in writing, to the Conference Secretariat prior to May 13, 2006. No requests for refunds will be accepted after this date. All refunds will be subject to a set administration fee of $75 CAD.
